- No. If the key is lost rather than locked inside, you need a new key, and we do not cut, supply or program car keys. Your dealer, your roadside assistance or a specialist auto-locksmith can. We only open the door when the key is inside.
- Will opening my car damage it or set off the alarm?
- The door is opened with air wedges and long-reach tools, without forcing the lock or the window. The alarm may sound when the door opens; it stops when you use your key.
- It is a hire car. Should I call the hire company first?
- Check your contract. Some hire companies include roadside assistance that covers lockouts; others let you arrange help yourself. If you call us, keep the rental agreement handy: it is your proof that the car is yours to open.
